9 Day Coral Coast and Yasawa Island

Join MV Reef Endeavour for a journey of discovery, as you cruise around the north of Yasawa and visit Pacific jewels like the famous Sawa-i-lau limestone cave and blue lagoon. This 4-night cruise is perfect for those who have limited time but would like to explore more than just one destination. On the first day, you will be welcomed to the Island of Tivua, surrounded by 500 acres of coral reef - a great opportunity to practice your snorkelling skills straight off the beach. There is also a volleyball court, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards and the opportunity for a leisurely 10min walk around the island. Start the day naturally with a morning swim & snorkel in an idyllic bay at Brothers Island. Savour a gourmet buffet lunch as you cruise to spectacular Naviti Island. Here is beauty in its original state where you can bask in aquamarine waters along white sandy beaches. Snorkel, swim, kayak, stand-up paddle board or explore the island. This evening join the festivities and entertainment of a Fijian Village at Gunu for a traditional Fijian Feast of Lovo and end the night with a Meke cultural performance.

There are 20 islands in the Yasawa island group, which stretches for a total distance of 90 kilometres and because they were formed by volcanic activity, they are more rugged than other Fijian islands and are renowned for their pristine natural beauty. Today, discover the legendary grandeur of Sawa-i-lau and the famous limestone caves at your own pace. There are many experiences for the adventurer at heart including swimming in a cave lagoon, snorkelling over coral gardens and swimming in fabled lagoons.

Cruise the soaring volcanic peaks of the Yasawas and discover a myriad of fish in the coral reef and laze in the warm sands of Yaqeta. The ship will travel the spectacular channels to Drawaqa for amazing snorkelling in the afternoon. If you're lucky you may even see a Manta-ray. The ship sets sail early in the morning and returns to Denarau Marina at around 9:00 am. After breakfast, meet the crew on the pool deck as they bid you farewell in song including their traditional Fijian ‘Isa Lei’ as they say ‘sototale’ or ‘see you again'. A transfer will take you to your Coral Coast accommodation for a day of leisure at the resort.

Depart on the Sigatoka River Safari, which offers a half-day, uniquely Fijian adventure in the heart and soul of Fiji. Passengers will travel along the Sigatoka River in jet boats to visit authentic Fijian villages and experience a day in the life of the real ‘kaiviti’ (Fijian). To bring the safari to life, a guide is assigned to each group and introduces passengers to the rich culture of the Fijian people and shares the history, customs and legends of the area.
